Brit and Scott were both on separate holidays in Queenstown in 2011 with their friends and had headed out on a night out. They saw each other from across bar and made eye contact, but Brit and her friends left for another bar. Scott and his friend left shortly after in search of the mystery girl. With over 100 possible places she could be, Scott made the statement ‘If she isn’t in Buffalo’s, it’s not meant to be’. Brit and her friends were not far inside the door, and as they say, the rest is history.

We catch up with Bride Brit on her Fiji wedding day:

After extensively searching options throughout New Zealand and not finding exactly what we were after, Scott suggested Fiji and Lomani Island Resort to me. We’d been on holiday to Fiji in 2017 and stayed at Lomani, so we knew the resort and absolutely loved the experience.

We knew it would be a great opportunity for our guests to make a holiday out of our wedding and that we would get a significant amount of time with everyone as we had chartered the whole resort for 3 days. We spent a lot of time talking about how we saw the wedding day and the whole charter unfolding and wanted to make sure that the decisions we made were reflective of who we are as a couple and what was important to us.
