From Glitzy Entrance To Vibrant Hues, This Wedding Was Bright, Bold and Beautiful
School sweethearts, Neha and Sangam, tied the knot at a lavish wedding hosted at the Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur dipped in its old-world charm and exuding tranquillity and grandeur in every corner of the Indo-Saracenic architecture covered with enchanting landscaped Mughal gardens. Their guests were welcomed with a royal stay at the palatial property of ITC Rajputana offering a warm zest of Rajasthani hospitality. They hired Weddingsutra Favourite- IWP-Indian Wedding Planners to transform the regal venue into something magical.
For the mehndi, the couple picked a soothing blue shade for the decor palette. Complementing the azure drapes, carpet, and cabana seating were contrasting orange gladiolus and marigold blooms festooned across a wooden structure to resemble a tree. Wood frames, tassels, and bells created a vibrant canopy hanging across the overhead drapes, and metallic ferns on either side of the entrance exuded elegance.
Soft tones with white, purple and yellow flowers cast a spell of tropical paradise for “Carnival’ themed pool party. Entertainers dressed in pastel shades, with floral tiaras and garlands gave a Hawaiian feel to the function. An electric blue door laden with fresh blossoms and potted plants on either side was a scenic spot for photos. However, the highlight of the venue was the photobooth with candy pink sofa in the middle and a colourful backdrop decorated with umbrella-shaped cocktail stirrers covering several floating rings. On one side of the photo booth was a giant butterfly smothered with flower petals.
The evergreen Bollywood-themed sangeet night saw the stage lit up with glowing projection screens, spotlights and wildflowers. The groom made a stunning entry on a metallic structure that read his name, Sangam, which dropped down slowly from the top of the stage. The bride also glided down from an arched white structure with stairs.
The haldi was a simple, sunny affair with yellow drapes, marigolds and roses with lots of greens. Guests showered the soon-to-wed couple with yellow petals to welcome them to the haldi ceremony.
Their wedding saw all hues of red and gold that exuded royalty and exuberance. Neha picked a red lehenga which matched the profusion of red roses and petals that were the main decor element. Matching the groom’s gold sherwani was the golden mandap and the dazzling pyro fireworks.
The couple shared their experience of working with Indian Wedding Planners, “We would like to thank the team for making our wedding as perfect as it could be. They became a part of our family, and the entire team handled every detail with efficiency and passion.”
