Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya : El Dorado

by - March 03, 2020

If you are looking to have a destination wedding in Riviera Maya, you won’t be at any loss for options. The El Dorado is one of those resorts that you see in commercials – absolutely gorgeous and serene when you need it to be, and entertaining and exciting whenever you want it. This resort has a family-friendly resort and an adults-only section, making it perfect for families of all kinds. The entire service staff speaks English, making it easy to communicate your needs. Make sure that everyone comes hungry – the restaurant offers fresh seafood and plenty of it.

Experience all that the resort offers like tequila tasting, cooking classes, cigar rolling, and rifle shooting, among other activities. The friendly staff members hold many titles – so expected to see them pulling double duty. One night, the waiter may serve you fresh lobster and the next day, he will teach you how to salsa dance. Each group of rooms will have a pair of concierges to cater to you – they will help you to get whatever it is that you need. You will be treated like royalty – while still keeping your destination wedding in Riviera Maya affordable.

The venue is so nice that I go back here every year. I tend to stay on the adult side so that I don’t have to mingle with the families.

Destination Weddings in Riviera Maya : Your Wedding

If you are looking to have a luxurious wedding where you really get to shine, walking down the aisle at the El Dorado will be exactly what you want. These weddings are breathtakingly gorgeous, no matter where you hold them. Of course, the beach is a very popular option – after all, that is why most people want to have a destination wedding in Riviera Maya. The rooftop sky deck offers 360-degree views where it feels like you can touch the sky. Additionally, the indoor chaple another popular option.

After photographing a wedding at the resort, I could have stayed there forever. I use the Nikon D810 for its amazingness in low light for outdoor weddings, the focus is outstanding. The Profoto A1 is a high-end speedlight that works great on and off camera. It has a model light function that means it can be used for continuous light. I also use special lenses for the dramatics.  The Sigma Art 50mm 1.4.and the 85mm 1.4 sigma art will make photos pop in low light and focuses faster than the speed of light. The full sun may outshine your shot so make it a sunset soiree…and get lit.
