Sangeet and Garba Venues

Where should you have your sangeet? Have your sangeet at the San Ramon Marriott. Alternatively, at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Milpitas, a nearby community center, or an Indian restaurant banquet hall.

San Ramon Marriott and Muhurats

The San Ramon Marriott offers ceremonies in blocks of 2 to 3 hours from 10am to 7pm. If your muhurat falls outside of the timeframe, complete the form below. The hotel may be flexible and/or there may be additional fees.

That’s 2 to 3 hours of actual event time. Your vendors get 4 hours for setup and and additional 1.5 hours after the ceremony for pictures. Altogether, 3 hours for a baraat + ceremony should be sufficient for most people. The San Ramon Marriott is very flexible. Hindu Dietary Requirements

The San Ramon Marriott on allows you to hire an outside caterer from the approved caterers list. There are at least 4 Indian and/or Pakistani caterers on the list. Complete the form below for more information.

With regards to dietary restrictions, work directly with your caterer to prepare menus per your dietary requirements and the setup at the venue. Often there will be a separate buffet or section of the buffet for vegetarian, Swaminarayan etc. food.
