{Indian Wedding Ceremony and Reception Venues at the Fairmont San Jose}

The Fairmont San Jose features two ballrooms, a large outdoor area for a baraat in downtown San Jose and plenty of smaller rooms for other wedding functions: mehndi, religious ceremonies, hospitality room and more.

As far as spaces for the ceremony and reception, couples love the spacious, pillar-less ballrooms at the Fairmont San Jose. Additionally the hotel’s standard banquet chairs that come with the outside catering package are nice; which means that you don’t have to rent other chairs – representing about $3000-$5000 in savings and funds you can apply to charger plates or other decor.

The Regency Ballroom at the Fairmont San Jose

8300 sq. ft. of space seating up to 550 guests for a reception with a dance floor or 880 for a ceremony. Many couples host their wedding ceremony and reception in this ballroom. The Regency Ballroom can be divided into segments. In fact this is great for weddings that are not going to have a break in-between the ceremony and reception. Many couples, will occupy one section for their ceremony, while the other section is setup for the reception. So, during cocktail hour your vendor team only has to flip 1/2 of the room for the reception.

Additionally, many couples will repurpose their ceremony decor for the reception.

Repurpose Ceremony and Reception Decor

One of the advantages of hosting your ceremony and reception in the same venue space is you can repurpose your decor as you can see in the photos below.
