We’re loving today’s Bohemian inspired Chateau Bellevue wedding full of special details! The venue has a rich history going back over 100 years ago to its inception in 1874 and today it’s the location of the Austin Woman’s Club. 

Bohemian Inspired Chateau Bellevue Wedding

Alex and Jamie met through mutual friends in Austin, Texas. Jamie included his English bulldog in his proposal by dressing him up in a suit. The bulldog even made an appearance in the wedding in the form of the groom’s cake! 

The blush, soft and romantic feel was perfect for the historic castle venue. Alex was a true princess and kept her attire romantic and classic. She wore a long sleeve lace dress with cathedral veil and Jamie had on a class navy suit.

Floral was a big splurge for the couple. In addition to flower petals down the aisle, blush and ivory tall centerpieces were included in the reception. There were beautiful aisle markers and a large floral alter made with cascading ivory floral. 

There was such a strong emphasis on family and guest experience during this wedding, it was magical! It’s really inspiring to see how they incorporated so many generations into this special day. Alex’s mother had a piece of her lace wedding dress taken to be sewn into our ring bearers pillow! The bride’s favorite moment of the day was getting ready with her bridesmaids and reading letters they all wrote to her (by surprise!)

Alex also enjoyed the reception surrounded by family and friends  in the same room. The couple splurged on open bars to include craft Austin beers and top shelf liquors for guests. The bride is of Greek descent so they had white chocolate covered almonds (an old Greek wedding tradition) bagged in lace with a note from the couple. Her parents had this as a favor at their wedding also! Too sweet!
