Naperville, IL Sikh Wedding by Shan Photography

by - April 30, 2020

Happy Thursday, Maharanis! We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. As you already know, we are facing unprecedented times that initiated emergency protocols to support the fight against this unfortunate situation. And one of the first and foremost recommendations was social distancing, which has definitely helped to contain this pandemic but has also affected many brides and grooms around the world. So many couples were just a few days away from their big wedding celebration, and all of a sudden, things had to change. That was the case for today's lovely couple Susan & Pravdeep. These lovebirds were supposed to have a big wedding celebration with three functions at various venues in Chicago, right before having an epic reception party that would bring the wedding festivities to an end. However, due to the continually evolving situation, plans had to change. In a bold and romantic move, the couple decided to get married at their home! As you can imagine, planning and designing a wedding is already a task in itself, but it can get twice as hard during these times and conditions. Still, Vandana Walia - Vchilli was up for the challenge and took care of everything in such a perfect way that it all ran so smoothly! They coordinated a minimalist and intimate Sikh wedding ceremony following CDC guidelines to ensure the environment was safe for everyone. After the ceremony, Shan Photography immortalized the sweetest and tender moments of Susan & Pravdeep's big day in a romantic and fun-loving photoshoot that we can't stop seeing in today's full gallery! Right before the end of this wedding celebration, the newlyweds shared delicious plates from Shree Restaurants and a sweet cake baked by The Baking Institute, with their guests. All in all, and despite everything that is happening nowadays, Susan & Pravdeep demonstrated that love always prevails and fulfilled their dream of becoming husband and wife! After all, once you find the right person, anytime and anywhere can be the start of your unique and everlasting love story!
