Today we’re featuring Erica and Aldo’s wedding at Ocean Blue and Sand. The Destify Couple originally met on a blind date at a Puerto Rican restaurant on the north side of Chicago. After dating for a while, Aldo proposed to Erica on her birthday during a dazzling week-long Jamaica cruise. After an afternoon of scintillating snorkeling tours, he dropped to one knee and popped the question while overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The couple chose Ocean Blue and Sand in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Searching for an all-inclusive, budget-friendly location, the couple narrowed their research on a collection of economical wedding resorts in the Dominican Republic. Utilizing the Paradise Package, Erica and Aldo hosted a 4-hour reception in the Tortuga Ballroom, rounding out a wholesome wedding day.

Pondering on the months of planning leading up to their ceremony, the couple agreed that their Destify agent Jessica was integral in securing affordable group rates and narrowing their search from the bevy of stunning wedding resorts. Erica said, “It was very helpful because we had a large party that was traveling with us. The wedding website was laid out very nice and also informational for everyone.”
