1. How The Couple Met

Joseph and Devika first met in Bali in 2013 while working together on a wedding and they eventually started spending time together. After the wedding, they went to Madhya Pradesh to Pench National Park for four days and they realised they had feelings for each other. By the end of 2016, they decided to get married.

2. Pre-Wedding Festivities

So, the couple already had an engagement ceremony in December, 2016 and decided for a wedding date in February. Joseph said that he wanted to have a Canada-based Erika and Lanny Mann, who were their friends to capture the wedding. And since, it would be freezing in Canada at that time, they won’t have any work issues.

They had a combined haldi-cum-mehendi party at Devika’s home and we love how they kept it simple and classy. The bride wore a yellow block-printed lehenga for the occasion that she paired with a gota patti dupatta and kept it elegant all the way.

3. Devika Narain And Joseph Radhik’s Intimate Wedding

For the venue, Joseph didn’t want to spend too much so they decided to get married at Devika’s family farm in Lucknow with all the beautiful mustard harvest. Joseph and Devika wanted a non-religious ceremony and exchanged vows under a bougainvillea tree, followed by a very casual style lunch. We just love how they are an inspiration for having surreal intimate weddings.
